Hey, everyone! This is Vikas Chaudhri and this is the story of my journey and evolution as a reader.

Well, I am especially fond of fiction and mythology. They have completely changed my perspective on our culture and history. Series like Amish’s Shiva Trilogy have helped me understand and appreciate the vast, unique diversity of our country.

I am also fond of self-help books. Robin Sharma is one of my favorites when it comes to this genre. Some of the ideas he presented in Who Will Cry When You Die? and A Monk Who Sold His Ferrari are quite unique. I particularly liked his take on the notion that there is so much more to life than making money. He contends that there is no end to our needs, so we should always strive to like what we get rather than aiming to get what we like. It was his books that made me realize that life isn’t all about indulging in a rat race to fulfill our financial and professional goals. I learned how we end up missing out on so much by toiling day and night without rhyme or reason.

And books didn’t just change my outlook on life, but also my concentration, which improved by leaps and bounds. I could read and learn more. Honestly, buying a new book has to be the greatest feeling in the world!

That was all for my story! I hope you enjoyed reading it.
