Hey, everyone! It’s Sreesiva here and this is the story of my evolution and journey as a reader.
It’s actually hard for me to pinpoint a moment when I fell in love with books. I had always been fond of reading. My parents would gift me books on every occasion, my birthdays included. Growing up, I got to learn so much about my culture, country and so many other things, thanks to both books and my grandparents.
As a teenager, I am still pretty much into books. In fact, whenever I get a book, I read it in one go. I am totally engrossed in whatever I’m reading. These days, I am studying the Bhagavad Gita and I couldn’t be prouder of this.
I am a huge fan of fiction, and Harry Potter is one of my all-time favorites. I’ve also got a thing for crime and detective novels. I am almost obsessed with the works of Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle. Christie’s The ABC Murders mesmerized me to no end, and I already look forward to reading Murder on the Orient Express.
I honestly feel that books have let me in on a new, indescribable world. If you are someone who prides yourself on being a non-reader, then you should absolutely give books a chance to sweep you off your feet.
