Everything cannot be lost

There is still a lot to see

The waves may pull you apart

But you are the calm sea.

Everything is never lost

There is a path ahead.

Roll on your legs, open your eyes

Don’t seek what you cannot have

The water will have to flow

The sun will have to set

And you’ll have to come and go.

Everything cannot be lost

It is just a tricky game

You are destined to win, but if you lose

Pick yourself up and rise again

If it floods every time

If the clouds refused to rain

Would we ever be happy again?

…now that you’re here
