Action is the foundational key to all success.
Humans are fascinated by the notions of dreaming big and aiming high, and rightly so. After all, life is not meant to be squandered away on trivial goals. That said, simply setting yourself lofty targets is not likely to get you far in the pursuit of your dreams. All our plans matter little if they are not backed by any material action. To give an example, if your goal was to, say, have a seaside mansion, your plans on how to fulfill this goal would be like an architectural blueprint for the same, and the actual groundwork done to build the mansion your action to this end.
At the same time, it is important to bear in mind that things do not always go to plan; there may be unexpected obstacles along the way. While some situations are simply beyond our control, the way we react to and recover from such setbacks is what separates the best from the rest. Human history is replete with examples of great men who defied all odds to carve out a name for themselves. Anyone who made it big in life can attest to the fact that the key to their success was, among other things, keeping at it in spite of all failures.
Equally important as putting your plans into action is to remain ever hopeful that you can accomplish your objectives. While keeping yourself motivated is easier said than done, especially when the going gets tough, it is something that cannot be stressed enough if one is to succeed in their actions.
Pablo Ruiz Picasso, commonly known as Pablo Picasso, was a globally renowned Spanish painter and sculptor. His following quote is relevant to the matter in hand: “Action is the foundational key to all success.”
